Dr. Iacobelli chose surgery because she wanted the opportunity to accurately diagnose and fix a patient’s problem rather than managing their symptoms. She feels greatly rewarded when a patient’s pain and concerning symptoms have been eliminated after their surgical intervention. She absolutely loves following up with her patients and seeing their new spirits with their turn of health. She believes in treating patients the way she herself, would wish to be treated, for example she believes explaining things in terms that patients can easily understand is crucial to their comfort and wellbeing before during and after a procedure.
Dr. Iacobelli was born in New Haven, Connecticut. She is married with two grown children and two little grandchildren. She is an avid fan of the Alabama Crimson Tide as well as the Boston Red Socks. She enjoys ballroom dancing, training for and participating in triathlons, needlepoint, cooking new dishes, and most of all – spending time with her children and grandchildren.
